The Auto 66 are sorry to report the passing of Jim Adams who has been a valued club member for many years.
Jim was a hardworking member, spending all his spare time at Oliver’s Mount, decorating and repairing the equipment etc.
Jim’s job at Oliver’s Mount was in charge of the grid gate at the start line.
Jim was a real gentleman who will never be forgotten by the club for his integrity and professionalism.
Our thoughts go out to his widow Anne, who for many years has helped out in the paddock office at race meetings, and son Stephen and daughter Leslie.
The funeral will take place on Monday 12th February at the Scarborough crematorium which is just past the main entrance to Scarborough Hospital on Woodlands Drive, postcode YO12 6QN.
No flowers please (by request), donations should be left at the chapel or sent to Auto 66, Circuit Office, Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough, YO11 2YW. All donations will be divided between St Catherine’s Hospice and Marie Curie Nurses
