The 2017 Season gets underway for Auto 66 Racing at Cadwell Park on the 18th & 19th March, this weekend.
This meeting has attracted some top riders of the road race world as they test there machines for the up and coming road race events such as the Bob smith Spring Cup, Isle of Man TT and the North West 200. In attendance will be Dan Hegarty and Gavin Lupton, testing there Honda backed Top Gun racing machines. Mick and Mark Goodings, the two brothers from Doncaster, will also see there first outing of the 2017 season. TT Star James Cowton will be testing his 600 and 650 Super twin machines. This is alongside Auto 66 Racing regulars such as Joe Thompson, Paul Marley, Callum Ward, Steve Degnan and the farther and son race team of Adam & Kaine Sheriff.
There isn’t just Solos racing this weekend, there is also a strong sidecar presence. The sidecar entry is led by the one of the fastest rising stars of sidecar racing Lee Crawford. Lee finished second the UK Super 2 Sidecar Masters in 2016 and is looking to go one step further and take the title this year. He will be joined by the fellow Team ARC member John Lowther. John is looking to make a big impact in this years various championships on his Honda backed machine. Auto 66 Regulars Eddy Wright and Greg Lambert will also be in attendance.
